Founded on Midwestern values in 1983, the Hance Companies were a pioneer in the field of contract locating, securing the first contract ever let for locating in the state of Minnesota and steadily building a long client list based on a strong reputation for accuracy and reliability spanning hundreds of thousands of successful locates over nearly two decades without a single DOT, OSHA, or OPS citation prior to the sale of their contract locating division in 2001. Charter members of the National Utility Locating Contractor’s Association (NULCA), the Hance Companies first opened their locator training process to the public more than five years ago and have since trained customers from coast to coast including locators for both Lawrence Livermore and Los Alamos National Laboratories. |
